Broadway planned maintenance contracts are designed to provide the customer
with routine and regular equipment inspections. The number and intensity
of the inspections will vary depending on the type of equipment, the application,
the location and age.
Inspections consist of detailed and visual checks of mechanical and electrical
components including safety and protective devices and also controls when specified.
Preventive maintenance routines are carried out including lubrication of bearing
surfaces, adjustment of belt tensions and cleaning or replacement of air filters.
Contract details are logged into a computer scheduling system and service personnel
are individually assigned to ensure consistency. Using the same technician
for inspections and service allows familiarity with the equipment, its service
history and any unique operating conditions which may influence its performance.
Proper maintenance procedures will assist in prolonging the useful life of
the equipment and will help in reducing energy consumption. Minor problems
are often corrected before they cause further major problems.
Broadway provides priority emergency service to contract customers ensuring
that their calls are attended to first.
