At Broadway Refrigeration, we are committed to the health and safety of all our workers. For the last year, we have been working to build and refine our safety program. We are therefore happy to announce that Broadway Refrigeration and Broadway Refrigeration Mechanical are both now COR certified! This is a huge accomplishment for us that reflects our dedication to worker well-being and our culture of safety.
The Certificate of Recognition (COR) is a voluntary program that recognizes employers who have health and safety systems that exceed the industry standard. Getting Broadway and Broadway Refrigeration COR certified was an in-depth process of reviewing our safety documentation and processes, ensuring that all workers were educated in safety procedures, and conducting a thorough audit of our entire safety program.
This certification process was spearheaded by Michael Ramos, our Health and Safety Manger. Michael worked closely with upper management and the British Columbia Construction Safety Alliance to meet the audit requirements. Broadway and Broadway Refrigeration are excited to have achieved this certification and are committed to continuously improving its health and safety processes.
