Adjusting to the “new normal”, the Broadway-Omega team has traded in a couple of our annual summer traditions for new events that protect the health & safety of our staff. Although we were sad to put these activities on hold, the “new normal” challenged us to find creative and innovative ways to appreciate our team.
Our field leaders are essential to our success. They have access to benefits & company perks, career development training, and a job structure that provides them a proper work/life balance, but… what about a little fun? We decided to remind them that they deserved a break, and took our Broadway-Omega Construction Leaders off site for the afternoon for a little fun in the sun.
This summer, we hosted our first annual Leadership Appreciation Golf Day to honour our foremen, site leaders, and superintendents. Our leaders are crucial to our daily operations, and it is necessary to remind them. JSA Sales and Andrew Sheret joined us for a relaxing afternoon in the sun. Thanks EagleQuest Coquitlam for having us!
CULTURE & COLLABORATION
Construction isn’t all field! Our office staff hustles every day to help us achieve success. At Broadway-Omega, no job is completed alone – collaboration is the key to success. We got our office staff away from their desks for the afternoon so they could work together in a different way. Our amazing race style games day encouraged bonding and team work, making our internal team stronger than ever, despite having to keep space between us.
CELEBRATING FIELD & SERVICE
Nothing puts a bigger smile on our field staffs’ faces than… you guessed it! Site lunch! We were happy to collab with Big Star Burnaby for our team at 400 West Georgia and Earls Richmond for our team at Cascade City.
We cannot forget the Broadway Service Technicians who are hustling out there on their own everyday! The ladies from the Service Department surprised them with a Canada Day BBQ in the office parking lot as a reminder that their hard work is always acknowledged & appreciated.
